Class Location: Classes will meet in the Northern Stage Miller Arts Building, 76 Gates Street, White River Junction, VT, unless otherwise indicated.
Final Performance: On the last day of our classes, family and friends are invited to a showcase, in which students can share some of the new skills they have developed over the class session.
Confirmation: An e-mail (or postcard when necessary) will confirm registration, along with the class dates, times, location, driving directions or any other requirements.
Class Attire/Conduct: Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing in which they can move easily and to work in flat-soled shoes. For safety reasons, we discourage students from wearing flip-flops and Crocs. We recommended layering to adjust to changing temperatures. In order to ensure each member of class a meaningful experience, persistently disruptive behavior will not be permitted. If, after conferencing with parents, a student continues to behave inappropriately, Northern Stage reserves the right to discontinue the student’s attendance in class, with no refund.
Snacks: Only water, sports drinks or fruit juice are permitted. For classes that run a full day, students should bring lunch and healthy snacks. Please check with us before camp to ensure that, due to student food allergies, we have not declared the program a “nut-free” zone.
Teaching Faculty: The teaching faculty includes professional theater artists and experienced drama instructors. Check our website for their biographies.
Payment: Payment in full is due at the time of registration. Please contact our Education Office if you need to make other arrangements.
Cancellations: In the event a student cancels before the first class, a credit for another class will be issued in the amount of tuition paid and must be used by May 30, 2013. The credit may also be donated as a tax-deductible gift to Northern Stage’s Theater Arts Education Program. No credits or refunds will be issued after the first class. Unused credits will automatically be treated as donations. Northern Stage reserves the right to cancel a session due to insufficient class enrollment and will refund any payments previously made.
Scholarships: In cases of financial hardship, full and partial scholarships may be available. Contact us for information.
