. The Backstagers Interested in getting to know the artists, directors, designers and staff of Northern Stage? Consider joining the Backstagers, the official Northern Stage volunteer group. Backstagers are an integral part of the theater and provide vital assistance with a wide range of tasks, from sewing on buttons to putting up posters to organizing welcome dinners for each arriving cast. There’s no better way to get to know the artists of Northern Stage!
