Northern Stage is located in the heart of downtown White River Junction, VT
White River Junction (WRJ) was the first and largest railroad center in Vermont and New England north of Boston. The village reflects the architecture of the late 1800's and early 1900's and has been designated a National Historic District. Today, WRJ is the center of commercial, cultural and government activity with a population of 2569.
White River Junction is a village within the town of Hartford, VT, and is the Waypoint community for the towns of Hartland and Norwich, VT, and Lebanon, Hanover, and Plainfield, NH. Its Waypoint Interpretive Center is located in an historic train station in downtown White River Junction, and also serves as a Vermont Welcome Center.
